What we collect

When you send the contact form or email us, we receive what you type in: your name, email address, phone number, business website and message.

So we can reply helpfully and see which of our pages and ads are working, your enquiry also carries a little context about your visit: the page you arrived on, the site or ad that referred you (including any campaign tags in the link), and which buttons you clicked on the way. It travels with your enquiry to us. Separately, our site analytics counts the same kinds of visits and clicks in aggregate, as described below.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to run and protect the site. The contact form also runs an automated anti-spam check when you submit it.

What we use it for

To reply to your enquiry, prepare for a call if you book one, deliver and support the service you buy, and handle billing for it. Nothing else.

We do not sell your details, rent them out, or add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.

When you buy a plan

Checkout runs on Stripe, our payment provider. Stripe collects your name, email address, phone number, business name and your card or bank details to take payment and run your subscription. Card and bank numbers go straight to Stripe: we never see or store them. Stripe may process data outside Australia; Stripe's own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy covers its handling.

We keep normal account records: your contact details, your plan, invoices, onboarding details and the go-live date we agree with you. After you buy, we send you a welcome email through our email provider, and you can update your payment details or cancel through the Stripe customer portal at any time.

Site analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how people find and use this site: which pages get visited, roughly where visitors come from, and which buttons get clicked. It sets cookies in your browser so repeat visits count as one visitor, and it processes data on Google servers that may be outside Australia.

We never send Google your name, email address, phone number, or anything you type into the contact form. If you block cookies or use a tool like Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, the site works exactly the same.

Where it lives

Enquiries are delivered through our email provider, which keeps copies of the message and its delivery logs, and land in our business inbox.

Some of our providers store data outside Australia, mainly in the United States: our payment provider (Stripe), our email provider, our analytics provider (Google) and our hosting.

We keep enquiry details only as long as there is a business reason to hold them. Billing and client records are kept for as long as tax law requires, then deleted.

SMS and follow up systems we build for clients

The follow up systems Sakaevo builds send messages on behalf of a client business, only to people who have dealt with that business. Every message names the business it comes from and carries an opt out: reply STOP and messages stop, applied within 5 business days at no cost beyond a standard reply.

Data in those systems belongs to the client business, not to Sakaevo. We store and process it only to run the client's system, and we export it to the client on request in a standard format. If you received one of these texts and want your details corrected or removed, contact the business named in the message, or email us and we will pass your request to them.

Your choices

Want to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted? Email us and we will sort it out, including any copy held by our email provider, except records tax law makes us keep.

If you are not happy with how we handled your information, you can complain to us first, and to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) if we do not fix it.
